Burj Khalifa, designed by Chicago architects Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, inaugurated on January 4, 2010, towers 828 meters (2,716.5') above Downtown Dubai, Emaar Properties flagship development, billed as 'The Centre of Now,’ in the United Arab Emirates.
