This Frank Lloyd Wright designed cantilevered coffee table is a variation of the table first designed in 1939 for his friend Lloyd Lewis. Unlike traditionally designed coffee tables where the leg supports are attached to the edges, the supports in the Lewis coffee table are placed midway along the lower surface, giving the appearance of two horizontal planes floating in space. These licensed reproductions from Cassina in Italy pay strict attention to Wright’s original details. Each piece of furniture is branded with Frank Lloyd Wright’s mark, certifying its authenticity, as well as the production number, which serves to record the item’s production chronology, and corresponds to the tally on the accompanying identity card. Crafted in a choice of Cherry wood, cherry wood stained Walnut, and cherry wood stained Black. Dimensions: 35.4” x 35.3". Height: 16.1”. Also available in a larger 45.3" version.
