Reimagine the way you play chess with the Los Angeles Skyline Chess Set - Wood Map Board. London designers Ian Flood and Chris Prossner have reimagined the chess set by taking the classic game pieces and replacing them with miniature renditions of famous Los Angeles buildings. A range of some of the city’s most recognizable building silhouettes make up the pieces in this set. The Wilshire Grand is the King with the LA Bank Tower as its queen. The City Hall building portrays the Bishop, the Santa Monica Pacific Wheel is the Knight, and the Capitol Records building is the Rook. The 32-piece set is cast in injection moulded acrylic. Each piece is double weighted and has a soft felt base. Finished in classic black and white, this stunning set is the perfect creation for someone looking for a unique piece of British design. Each set comes complete with a hand-printed wooden map board and presentation box.
