Return Policy

Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policy 

Please return the merchandise (in the case of wearables, they should of course be unused) in original manufacturer packaging and shipping carton within 90 DAYS of receipt for a prompt and courteous exchange or refund, whichever you prefer. Please insure your return shipment (lost or damaged shipments are the responsibility of the sender). Refunds do NOT include original or return shipping charges. Exchanges within this time frame and inside the contiguous United States are of course shipped at no charge. Additional shipping charges would apply to international exchanges. A 25% restocking charge applies to customized and special order items (made to order). 

Please note: items that are returned beyond the standard 90 day return period may qualify for a store credit as long as the item is in a new and undamaged condition, with full manufacturer packing and is still offered on the website.

Once orders are placed, they are processed within 24 hours. While there is no guarantee that we can cancel/modify an order once it has been processed, requests for cancellation or changes must be made by calling (414) 276-4750 or by emailing service@maclinstudio.com as soon as possible. Orders CANNOT be cancelled after the order is shipped.


Refund Policy (non-defective products)

Refunds do NOT include original or return shipping charges. Exchanges are of course shipped at no charge.

Gift Wrap is non-refundable.

Refund Policy (Manufacturer Defect)

While a number of our products include a limited manufacturer warranty, Maclin Studio will refund, repair or replace at no charge any product or part of a product that proves defective under normal use and conditions within 90 DAYS of receipt of goods. In cases beyond 90 DAYS where a manufacturer's limited warranty is applicable and is extends beyond 90 DAYS, contact the manufacturer directly. This policy applies to manufacturer defects only and not items damaged in shipping, which must be reported within 5 business days of receipt.

Items Damaged in Shipping

We ask that you please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. Any damage in shipping MUST be reported by email within 5 business days of receipt. (This policy is waived during the November-December Holiday season for gift items). Please retain all original packaging materials and do not discard until advised otherwise. Regrettably, we will not be able to process claims for damaged goods if the original packaging materials have been discarded. Do not ship the item back to us. We will arrange for the carrier to collect it if necessary. 


Special Order and Custom Items

Returns for the small number of Special Order and Custom Items (made to order) are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Items purchased specifically for special events such as film or television shoots are subject to a no return policy.
