The AV86 1968 Moonphase Steel / Dark Blue Watch is powered by a Miyota 6P20 Quartz, moon phase movement. This watch features a bold dark blue giulloche dial that plays with light and depth, revealing intricate details with every glance and giving every watch its own character. There are balanced proportions and symmetrical subdials that create a harmonious silhouette on the wrist. The design elevates the traditional moonphase into a versatile statement piece. Glass: double domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. Diameter: 39 mm. Height: 11.35 mm. Case: 316L high precision stainless steel. Flat navy Italian leather band with pin buckle. Water resistant to 5 ATM. The moonphase indicator shows the current phase of the moon as seen from Earth, using a rotating disc with a moon and stars visible through a cutout on the dial. It advances slightly each day to match the real moon’s 29.5-day cycle. While mostly decorative today, it nods to early watchmaking, when moonphase tracking was used for navigation and calendars. AV86 provides a 2 year warranty against defects. Save $25 today with code SAVE25 at checkout.
