This Frank Lloyd Wright Saguaro Wood Framed Stained Glass vividly recreates one of Wright's most popular designs. The design is one of a number of Liberty Magazine cover designs from 1926-27 that the editors thought to be too "radical" and never used. In 1973 there was a fire in the Arizona Biltmore. This graphic was selected from the Frank Lloyd Wright Archive to be rendered in stained glass in the reconstructed foyer. On this glass panel, enamel colors are individually applied to a single sheet of glass which is then kiln fired to permanently fuse the enamels to the glass. The glass is then wood framed with matching stand. Ht: 13.25". W 10.5".
