The Frank Lloyd Wright Dana Art Glass Welcome Mat Doormat is adapted from the living room to hallway doors of the Susan Lawrence Dana House. One of Wright’s greatest works in the “Prairie Style.” The house has more than two hundred windows, doors and skylight panels.
In 1903 heiress and social activist Susan Lawrence Dana commissioned Wright to remodel her family’s 1868 Italianate mansion. In 1944 the house was purchased by Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Thomas. The house was renamed the Dana-Thomas house in recognition of the couple’s preservation efforts over the 36 years that they owned the home. This doormat is constructed in coir fiber pressed into a rubber base. The generous proportions of this mat are 30 inches by 18 inches. The Frank Lloyd Wright Dana Art Glass Doormat is officially licensed by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation.

The design is one of a number of Liberty Magazine cover designs from 1926-27 that the editors thought to be too "radical" and never used. In 1973 there was a fire in the Arizona Biltmore. This graphic was selected from the Frank Lloyd...

The Frank Lloyd Wright Saguaro Forms doormat features a design adapted from Saguaro Forms and Cactus Flowers, created by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1927 as part of his Liberty magazine cover studies. Originally considered too avant-garde, the design reflects Wright's mastery of abstraction, geometry, and asymmetry inspired by the desert landscape. Now one of his most celebrated works, it continues...
