This Frank Lloyd Wright May Basket Stained Glass is based on a Wright design for Liberty Magazine in 1926-27. Frank Lloyd Wright was commissioned to design a series of cover designs. However, the editors thought the designs to be too "radical" and they were never used. The May Basket is an abstract geometric motif representing flowers, fruits and streams of ribbons in celebration of Spring. On this glass panel, enamel colors are individually applied to a single sheet of glass which is then kiln fired to permanently fuse the enamels to the glass. The glass panel is then framed with a metal came and includes hanging chain and wood stand for optional desk or table display. Dimensions: 10" x 10". This Frank Lloyd Wright glass panel is officially licensed by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. This glass panel can only be purchased for shipment within the contiguous United States.
