The design of the Junghans Meister Chronoscope 027/4222.03 Watch combines classic charm with sporty functions in its elegant and dynamic style. In the early 1900s, Junghans was one of the largest clockmaking factories in the world. The inception of the automobile was relatively recent, and this new technology and innovation captured the imagination of the designers and partners. To honor this passion, an homage in a style reminiscent of early speedometer and tachometer readouts in early motor vehicles was created. Capturing this time-period completely within a timepiece, the Meister Driver adds the internals of a fully modern chronograph with a vintage look and unique design. Meister translated from German means "master" or "mastery". This relates how Junghans intended the Meister range of watches to be. Their highest level of precision, style, and an unmatched echelon in quality and master craftsmanship. 

The Junghans Meister Chronoscope Watch 027/4222.03 has an automatic self winding J880.1 movement with a 48 hour power reserve. Diameter: 40.7mm. Height: 13.9mm. Sunray brushed fir green dial, with luminous hands. Weekday and date function. Chronograph Function: hours, minutes and seconds. Glass: sapphire crystal. Case: polished stainless steel with 5-times screwed case back. Case back has viewing window. Tan ostrich leather band with stainless steel buckle. Water resistant up to 5 bars. With roots back to 1861, Junghans produces all its watches in their Schramberg, Germany headquarters upholding their world-acclaimed aesthetic and producing some of the most recognizable dials in all of watchmaking.
