London Skyline Chess Set

With the London Skyline Chess Set, designers Ian Flood and Chris Prossner have reimagined the chess set by taking the classic game pieces and replacing them with miniature renditions of famous architecture from their hometown of London. In this set, a row of terraced house stand ready as pawns, Big Ben is the Rook, with the London Eye playing the Knight. 30 St Mary Axe is cast as the Bishop, and the Shard lends its elegance and might to the role of the Queen. No other building than Canary Wharf would be better suited to play the King, and this piece stands at 4.5” tall. The 32-piece set is cast in injection moulded acrylic. Each piece is double weighted and has a soft felt base. Finished in classic black and white, this stunning set is the perfect creation for someone looking for a unique piece of British design.
